An estimated 10 billion champagne bubbles are expected to be consumed by attendees at this year’s Taste of Dublin in partnership with Electrolux which begins this Thursday 15th June and runs until Sunday 18th June.

These bubbles will be served by Taste of Dublin in enough champagne glasses to run from the event location, Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens all the way to the Spire on O’Connell Street.

Taste of Dublin is the longest standing “franchise” for Taste Festivals; now running for 12 years and the model has been emulated more than 30 times around the World.

Over 32,000 people will attend Ireland’s premier food and drink event as this year’s Taste of Dublin sees more world class chefs participate than ever before, with major kitchen names and stars including Clodagh McKenna, Daniel Clifford, Darina Allen, Jean Christophe Novelli, Kevin Dundon, Nevin Maguire, MasterChef Ireland’s Robin Gill, Ross Lewis and others appearing.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Flavours of the World’, reflecting the increasing international influence on Irish cooking over recent years.
