Ardú Vocal Ensemble continue their Friends charity concert series with two concerts this December in aid of The Simon Communities of Ireland.
On Thursday, 22 December, Ardú will be joined by renowned soprano Emer Barry and the Holy Child School Choir (Killiney), directed by Regina McDonald for an evening of festive music at the National Maritime Museum of Ireland, Dún Laoghaire.
The Simon Communities of Ireland provide the best possible care, accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness and those at risk. Together with people who are homeless, we tackle the root causes, promote innovative responses and urge the government to fulfill their commitments. Simon delivers support and service to over 6,000 individuals and families throughout Ireland who experience – or are at risk of – homelessness. The Simon Communities of Ireland is an affiliation of local Communities in Cork, Dublin, Dundalk, Galway, the Midlands, the Mid West, the North West and the South East.
Proceeds will be in aid of The Simon Communities of Ireland. Tickets €15/12.50 available from www.ardumusic.com/
This event is the first of two concerts, the second of which will be held on 23 Dec at St. George’s Church, High Street, Belfast and will feature performances from soprano Suzanne Savage and Capella from The Wallace High School (Lisburn), directed by David Falconer.
